Haywood County’s Bethel Village Development Soon to Break Ground

Bethel Village, located in Haywood County’s Jonathan Creek, is a 41-lot affordable housing development that will break ground in April.

Three bedroom, two bath homes will be the first developed, and Smoky Mountain Housing Partnership has identified potential lenders to help with down payment assistance.

SMHP is a member of the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency, so eligible households can receive down payment assistance up to twenty percent of the sales price through a deferred 0% interest loan.
